I'm a bit confused as to why the first look started on chapter 2, was an odd place to begin.. While I'm a native New Yorker and love reading about my birth state I'm not a fan of opera or memoirs in general and didn't particularly care for writing style. It has to be something I really want to learn more about to read the genre though I'd encourage others who do like it to give the first look a go.
