An Interesting Memoir, but Not For Me
From the excerpt provided, this memoir seems well written and intriguing, with a colorful cast of characters and a tone of unflinching bluntness. I definitely appreciated the writing and can't deny the author's talent. Unfortunately, the subject matter of the memoir just didn't grip me. I think if someone was interested in how NYC, especially certain neighborhoods, has changed over time, especially through the lens of an artist born to artist parents, they would really enjoy this memoir.
