War is such a gut-wrenching topic just by itself, I can’t imagine bringing both family and heartbreak to the table as well. I have cousins both male and female in the Marines and I’ve dated two men in the Coast Guard. I’ve wiped tears from eyes from the memories that they bring home with them. Ones that pained me to hear because not only were that sad but also grotesque. But they needed to get it out. Stories of those who didn’t make it back home, tales that you wouldn’t want your worst enemy to hear about let alone live through.
Cam automatically stands out to me as a rigid and tough hot guy name. Someone who disappears and never looks back. Someone who is too proud to admit his faults. Willow seems like a sweetheart “girl-next door” type that could be that one that got away- that once in a lifetime type of love.
I lost my Dad to cancer recently so I hope for all of their sakes that the brother rekindle things with their father.
