The cover art conveys the story, as far as I can tell, although it could have easily been a travel book. I do not typically read contemporary romance, especially from a male perspective, but I would be willing to give this novel a try. I was not really a fan of the writing style, as it was a bit rough and did not flow well. I would not buy Great and Precious Things, but will look for it at my local library.
