This is basically a Hallmark movie combined with a Nicholas Sparks book and I just can’t make myself interested in it. Both of those are —fine—but just way too predictable. Adding in the military and loss of a sibling seems to be designed to make people “feel things”. Whatever that means, probably a mix of sad and generic ‘hope’, I just know I’m not going to be able to read an entire book of this.
