I enjoyed the beginning of this story and getting to know the characters. Between the book summary and the first impression sample of the story, it is easy to see where the story is going. I don't think there will be any big surprises, but it has great potential to be a sweet story.
The very beginning of the story was a bit confusing. You are dropped into the middle of a scene in progress not knowing what is happening or who the characters are. There are several characters introduced immediately and a couple more in the next chapter. Once you figure out what is going on, the story is engaging and I would guess that you will become more invested in these characters as the story progresses.
