Overall I enjoyed this book and thought it was a brave and sentimental journey that the author shared with readers. Through her dogs, she shares her thoughts and ups and down of her transgendered life thus far. Dogs love unconditionally so to have that love from her dogs gave her strength to keep going even when humans would shut her down. I found it an interesting take on this life.
The cons for me would be that the story isn't consistent, it jumps around which did loose me a few times. And there were a few times where what she was saying didnt really contribute or make sense to the chapter but these are minor issues. The author is a great writer, very poetic with her words.
