I absolutely loved this book!
First of all, the cover screamed at me to pick it up and read the words within. The colors are very eye catching, and so is the sweet pupper.
Learning life lessons through our best friend is the premise of this one. This idea is actually really helpful, there are so many lessons we can take away from dogs. They teach us how to love the world and each other on a daily basis.
I also picked this book up because the author is trans. I figured as much from the rainbow letters in the cover, but after reading more I was sold. I have dear friends who are trans and I try my best to diversify my reading by adding in a good handful from the LGBTQ+ community every month.
All in all, this was a good read. There were some bits that got a little slow for me, but I pushed through! I tend to read really fast paced books, so that is all on me.
