3.5 Stars. I am really not one to like memoirs, but I was hoping this one would be different. It didn’t disappoint, but it wasn’t stellar. This has nothing to do with the author, her writing style was beautiful and funny. It’s just that I am not that into memoirs, so I should have known I would not enjoy it as much.
However, I really did enjoy learning about Jennifer’s journey into herself and I love dogs, so her stories were great! I especially loved the stories about Matt the Mutt. As someone who has only had three dogs in her life, and grew up terrified of animals, I loved the stories about the dogs. And I love how Jennifer partitioned her major life events into which dog she had to help her through those times.
