This book honestly wasn't my favorite and I did not finish it. I thought the concept was SO good (who doesn't love a good cry during a dog book!?) but the plot moved SO slowly that I could not focus. I didn't feel like I connected with any characters, which is SO important in any book, but ESPECIALLY one like this.
I did appreciate the connection to each part of her life with the dog she owned at the time. I felt like that really made her story unique and interesting, and I appreciated the hardships she went through to get to where she is today. I loved the pictures of all the pups included and how we got to see her grow through those pictures and with her doggos.
Overall, great concept and the story had such potential, just not great execution.
