Good Boy is a memoir of a young boy who then became a middle-aged woman all chronicled through life by seven dogs. It was a not a easy read for me as the structure of the book was a little disjointed. I felt confused because of the inconsistency of the way the book was written.
When I first saw the cover of this book I thought it would be a heartwarming story about a dog. It's more about the author's transitioning from male to female.
Although i thought the concept of the story was good, I kind of had a hard time finishing it. I think the the way the book was written was just too confusing for me. I do think it's a sweet story that gives the message that we have our dogs standing by our sides no matter what we go through in life.
