I absolutely love a good memoir, and although I was not familiar with the previous works by Jennifer Finney Boylan, I thought that this memoir sounded like something that would really work toward my interests.
I wasn't wrong! First of all -- who couldn't love this cover?! Adorably sweet and just plain gorgeous if you ask me, this cover set the book up for me and did not disappoint.
I think what I enjoyed most about this book is the creativity that the author took liberty with, as far as the construction of the book. I love the way that the book is set up with the parallel lines drawn between each of the seven dogs, with the transformations that this author went through.
A great mix of humor, insight, and love, I would recommend this read to those who love a good memoir.
