I'm a new dog owner, so all of a sudden movies like A Dog's Purpose and books like Good Boy look interesting to me. This appreciation of dogs is a new venture, but one that I am enjoying.
Good Boy is a memoir and therefore non-fiction, so I do not think it is fair to judge it on the plot line. What I did really appreciate was getting to know the author and seeing how a life can be "measured" in dogs. It was a wonderful way to get to know the author. I'm so glad to have this peek into the mind of Jennifer Boylan, especially since this is the first of her works that I have read. I look forward to reading many more soon.
