How cool to see a quote from a fellow fourth Grade teacher inspiring a book title!

The lively cover opens a smooth lead-in to Hudson Wheeler's senior year of high school, spent mostly with online courses, except for his beloved art and yoga.
The author smoothly and gradually reveals how he deals with the lasting grief of his father's sudden death in Iraq as well as his new and unwanted role as male head of the family. Readers may hope that, as he grows up and meets more women, that he will show more compassion and understanding of his hardworking, devastated mother.

Personality changes evolve as he falls in and out of love, successfully continues his entertaining dog walking business, and (hopefully) helps those seniors he has promised 24 hour responses. Mr. Pirkel is a highlight.

It would be good to see a sequel, notably if it featured a graphic novel of My Off and On Senior Year and Beyond by Hudson Wheeler.
