If you are looking for an easy and light read this may be for you. The subjects addressed within are not necessarily light hearted, but I did not find the book to be super deep or gripping to the point that I felt the need to either re-read passages or to put the book down and reflect. This has lead me to refer to it as a light read because it can be read and enjoyed with out the need to think super hard about it.

Perhaps a younger reader might be able to become more enveloped in the story and will be able to relate to the main character better. This would probably be of most interest to readers on the younger end of YA (the main character is a senior so 17 or 18, but often felt emotionally much younger despite the classic senior year tropes occurring).
