This book has become one of my new favorite novels. Hudson is in that stage where he is graduating and certain things are expected of him. Especially since, "he's going places." Hudson, like described, is a very likeable character and his story is one that is written with such care and agreeableness. There are details possessed within the pages that make him come to life rather than only being destined to live within the pages of the book. The author does this with all the characters that Hudson encounters and it makes for such a lively read. When Hudson has his first bought with falling in love there is so much heart and a bit of mystery. I read this one entirely too fast and can't wait to revisit the world in which Hudson, Alana and Mr. Pirkle live!
