While I tried to finish this book, I just couldn't. It seems well written and appears to be an interesting concept but it just didn't hold my attention. I can't put a finger on it but everything seemed predictable and a little impossible. I may try reading this book again this summer on vacation and would like to think that if I start over, it may draw me in.
The characters seem a little one-dimensional at the beginning. I can only hope that they will develop more as the story goes on.
The cover in interesting and gives the idea that there is lots of adventure inside. I think it just falls a little short and doesn't live up to the hype that the cover projects. I hope I can give a better review after my second attempt at this book.
