Oh, Hudson.
I really liked this book. I felt it was really fresh in that it felt real and honest; you could really feel like you were in Hudson's head. Teens can be tough to write, and most of the YA books that I read have them in ridiculous and over the top situations, so it was refreshing to read this book and have it just feel normal.
I enjoyed the arc of Hudson and Alana, as I am sure we all have met someone who we were friends with yet wanted something more. It read like a very natural progression.
This book reminded me of what I felt like at that age, the friends I had and how they shaped me, and the wondering of what happens now that life really begins. I would absolutely recommend this book when it comes out to those that are looking for a solid YA story.
