I think the thing I liked best about this book was the protagonist, Hudson Wheeler, who doesn't know what he's doing in life anymore than anyone else. I liked his attitude, but I wasn't really emotionally invested in his story. Many times when reading the book, I asked myself "Why am I reading this?". Not because the book is bad, but I wasn't drawn in by anything.
As much as I liked the protagonist, I couldn't relate to him and I didn't learn anything from his story. The plot was entertaining, but I feel like I could have read a better book in the time it took me to read this one. Maybe this book just simply isn't for me and it is amazing for someone else.
I really just want to say that this is a good book, it just wasn't the right book for me.
