(Preview of Extended Reading Sample of First Chapter)
I really enjoyed the extended preview of Going Places.
This book was written with a very easy-to-read style and seemed to focus on things like family, loss, finding one's passion in life, growing up, relationships, and other topics that the typical reader should find relatable.
My only nitpicks thus far and they are super minor ones is that I think it would have made more sense to have the protagonist participate in a homeschool co-op to get his social interaction and exercise vs. taking a few classes (especially yoga which seems somewhat unbelievable) at a public high school that seems small enough where most of the characters know each other.
Even so, this book seems like it will be a fast, enjoyable read and that is always nice to have with a book.
