What a delightful read! This is a wonderful coming-of-age, "slice of life" YA story that follows the main character, Hudson, as he manuevers through the experiences and challenges that cross his path. He discovers some revelations not only about himself, however, also about those he shares his life. In the process he learns about expectations: those we have for ourselves and for others, others have for us, ones that may go unfulfilled, and the ones we never saw coming. All in all, an enjoyable tale about self discovery, and reaching adulthood.
