My first impression of the book was positive. I found the main character, Hudson, very personable, likeable, and he seemed determined to do his own thing. He doesn't seem like one who follows the crowd, instead wanting to blaze his own trail. His shyness with Alana, as well as his slight annoyance with Gus, seems completely natural and realistic. Overall, it seems like a fun and upbeat book that I hope I get to read (finish).
