Much like Hudson, I also was told I'd "Go places" by my elementary school teachers. Unlike Hudson, I don't necessarily have any life-altering events to point to as a turning point. It's an interesting concept for a novel. I actually want to know what Hudson does with his year away from school. I was a little confused at first because homeschooling where I am from and what was described in this book seem to be a little different from each other, but once I got past that I was intrigued.
