Hudson seemed to have a bright future and then his dad dies in the Iraq war. His mom keeps a letter on the refrigerator from his 5th grade teacher that said Hudson was going places but in his senior year Hudson would like to be home schooled so he can focus on himself, right? This book looks like a wonderful journey and should be made into a movie!
