This book was really well done and blew my expectations out of the water. The idea of being cyrogenically frozen reminds me of the movie Vanilla Skye and the whole Walt Disney frozen brain theory... but also feels like it coukd be completely relatable as near future science events seem to be coming to life daily. I really loved that our main character was a person of color with some Asian heritage. We really do need more of that, especially in the YA community. I am also a big sucker for a sci fi novel that is set in outer space or on a different planet. So to say the least I loved so many parts of this book, plot, and the writing style itself. It is hard to believe that this was actually a debut novel for the author!
