I'll be honest - throughout the first half, the book is kind of slow, and I was waiting for the action and fun stuff to begin - and boy, did it happen. The second half of the book was a wild ride and I loved it! It was worth the drag, and I loved how the story developed. One of the coolest things was the old English they used, and I, as well as the main character Andra, was confused as heck for a lot of it. The ideas were so bloody complex - but then again, they were easily understandable because our lovely author explained it wonderfully. Don't get me started on the plot twists towards the end - they literally killed me and ripped my heart to shreds, but I kept reading anyway! All in all, so much better than I had thought it would be!
