Science fiction is rarely my first choice, but some stories transcend genres are just good stories. Andra went into stasis so she could go with her family and be part of a 1 million people colonization to try to save Earth’s resources by finding a new home. She falls into stasis and the next thing she knows she’s drowning, but nothing happened the way she had been prepared for and she realizes she slept for 1000 years instead of the 100 to sleep through the journey. Andra was woken up by Zhade who has his own agenda but wants to help her return to the capital city. Zhade tells her she is the third and final goddess and that his people have been worshipping the tanks she and the two unknown goddesses were. The planet is dying and the people expect Andra to fix it and save them all but she’s just a teenager who was somehow forgotten in a cryotank. I could not put this book down once I started. The writing is excellent and I liked the evolved broken high goddess speak English that was sprinkled throughout.
