The cover is decent if not all that clear on what the story is really about; on the other hand, the preview was really good, setting up a dystopian future where tech has decayed to the point where nobody alive can maintain it, so they pull out an original colonist to fix the things they need to survive on what appears to be a fairly inhapitable plant ... which leads to some speculation on how they will survive once the last colonist (aka the goddess) is no longer there to do the repiars. It is an interesting premise with solid writing to support the story making what looks like a solid summer read that I am looking forward to. Given that ... this story is starting with an additional star over my usual starting point.
