I ended up enjoying this YA sci-fi more than I thought I would. The beginning was a tad slow for me, and felt dragged out to get to the end where all the problems would be solved. They weren't and the twist was definitely not something I foresaw.

The heroine, in this case a teenager who is realistic, self-doubting, and fat as self described, was easy to relate to and love. She's woken up from a cryo sleep to find herself in an unknown location thousands years after she was supposed to be woken up. The language is newish or evolved and there's noone she knows of around. Not exactly the situation she was prepped for before she was put to sleep. She finds herself called a Goddess and has no idea why. The goal is to find herself back to her people, and figure out what went wrong on the way to this new world.

The story is tropy as YA books go. The chosen one, the fight for the throne, the bastard prince, etc. But it had its twists and turns and in the end I got really roped in into the story and would love to see how it continues. There's a lot of drama left unresolved that I need to see to the end. Also, who doesn't like the cool science that this book is breaming with - give me all the nano bots and the AI.
