The cover! is! lovely! What wonderful colors. Purple really is the YA color for 2020.
The book however, takes some getting used to. Not the plot or the settings, but the speech. While the "Goddess" speaks normal English, the inhabitants of this world speak a slanted form of English, which makes it difficult to decipher at times and causes the reader to stumble across the page.
