This is not a book I would have expected to be interested in. I don't particularly like science fiction. However, I really enjoyed the sample of this book. I was surprised at how well the author conveyed the new version of English. I was reminded of Newspeak in George Orwell's 1984 because the words seem to have been chose to simplify intended meaning. I'm curious as to why the people of Hell-Mouth think bots are angels and that the main character is a goddess. She is apparently the "last goddess," so I wonder if the other people on the Ark were considered gods and goddesses before her.
