I was not sure about this book, but the cover looked very interesting to me and so I gave it a try. I AM so glad that I did! Andormeda is woken up to what she thinks is only a 100 years later, but later finds out that she has been asleep for close to a 1000 years. Everything that she knows about the world is gone. Her family and friends are all dead so she has no way to figure out what she is suppose to do now. Once she is awake and understands that she is not in the time frame that she is expects, she goes out to were all of the rest of the people are in town and they are chanting a name at her which means goddess. She is far from that so she is confused. I love Sci Fi movies and shows and I actually really enjoyed reading this book. I hope I get the chance to read more of this book. The only thing I found to be annoying was the language of the "townspeople" other than that I loved the book.
