To be honest, when I first saw this one pop up, I didn't think I would be that interested. YA Sci-Fi? Meh. But this excerpt was amazing--I was hooked from the first line and the action didn't let up. I loved that the premise--cryogenic freezing to wake at a future date--reminded me immediately of Blake Crouch's Wayward Pines trilogy, which I loved. I'm so curious as to what happened to the plans originally laid down for Audra and how she will make her new future.
