Let me just start off by saying that I absolutely love fairytale retellings!! So if that’s not really your thing then you might want to skip it. But if retellings are your thing then definitely make sure you have this one on your radar. I have loved everything I have read by Marissa Meyer so far and this one is a beautiful story. I love the storytelling in this book. I very much enjoyed a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin because I feel like you don’t see too many of those stories out there. At least not for me personally so this was an awesome story to have. I am really looking forward to the second book in this series, Cursed, to come out later this year. And I haven’t even mentioned the cover for this one yet. Absolutely freaking stunning!!!! And I just saw the cover for Cursed, just as beautiful. So gorgeous to look at. If you’re a fan of fairytale retellings or a fan of Marissa Meyer in general I’d recommend this one for sure.
