Alright, so I love Marissa Meyer - and because of that, this was a must read. And it did not disappoint! My favorites by her are definitely The Lunar Chronicles, which are also fairytale retellings, so that just shows you already how good she is at this type of writing. It was a really fun and unique book that took me on quite the journey. I just recently found out that this is going to be a series, or at least one more coming out, so I am really excited to keep reading this story and see where Marissa takes it next! Also, let's talk about that cover! This is one of my most favorite covers yet and it is just stunning. I love the gold drip that makes it look like a cage along with the haunting looking eyes in the back! Overall, I must say a very big thank you to Marissa Meyer and to BookishFirst for a copy of this book that I very much enjoyed. I cannot wait to read the next!
