Marissa Meyer once again has managed to write a story has hooked me right away. The mood and setting may have been the strongest aspect of the story so far because, although I already love Serilda, I have been completely transported to her small German-esque town full of sweet children and things that go bump in the night. I can't wait to find out what happens next and am frankly upset to have read this far and not have the book in my hands. The cover intrigues me (who's eyes? perhaps those of the Erlking's ghostly bride?) and I'm excited to continue to visit the world within its pages.
