I did not like this book, I was not able to finish it, it is straight-up boring. The writing was good, but way too much details and way too many things described before really anything happened.
This is BOOK 18 IN THE COURTNEY SERIES... I am wondering if my not liking it is because I never read any of the other books? The character development and adventure intensity was not present. Unfortunately, age limits everyone and Wilbur has come to that point that he uses co-authors and ghost writers. I think I will go for the earlier books of his instead of this one. The characters are not believable, they are getting into all sorts of impossible situations, but always surviving and going strong... it felt impossible to even try and follow a "plot".
I am sorry but I don't think this book is worth anybody's time or money and I am glad I did not pay for it.
