Wow! This book blew me away. It is my first Wilbur Smith novel. It won't be my last. From the beautiful cover to the last page, pure awesomeness. So action packed, sit on the edge of your seat, don't blink, don't close your eyes! I'm not a reader usually of this type of book, but the cover and the the teaser/ blurb pulled me in. Rooting for Their wasn't hard from Abigail to his Indian bride, you knew he'd make a fine warrior and an excellent husband. His sister Constance with stars in her eyes and outstanding beauty well is a handful, but she proves she's a Courtney by surviving some horrific conditions, two equally horrible marriages, to finding her brother again and letting him go again. Wow! Fantastic.
