The best part about Gate 76 was the beginning that established the narrative of a private detective noticing some suspicious actions from a woman at an airport. While she is listed as one of the passengers of the plane that exploded and killed everyone onboard, detective Freddy Ferguson is determined to get to the bottom to the case that is currently captivating the entire nation.

Once the story starts flashing back to Freddy's boxing career the interest in the story starts to fade. I am someone who enjoys character development and reading a compelling backstory, it did not seem to be relevant to the overall progression of the story.

Overall the story did not develop as I had anticipated.
