main character- detective Freddy Ferguson- which witnesses an aircraft mid-air explosion. Initially he sees a mysterious woman acting strangely and she did not go to her planned flight. Then the plane explodes and Freddy thinks she is an important key to this fact. It doesn't take long for Freddy to begin his investigation with his co-worker to uncover the reason which the woman was in odd behaviour.
Gate 76 reveals our detective past (boxing career) and how his story influences the actual decision and actions. Also, the book keep us curious about Anna Brook's real story and has a plot full of turns and twists.
