You can't go wrong with magic and mystery!

Katy Rose Pool's highly descriptive prose drew me right into this fascinating story. Just within the first chapter, the skillful world-building made me feel like I was a part of the story. Marlow, a young curse breaker who can't let go of the mystery of what happened to her mother, shows immense courage and quick thinking in a run-in with a dangerous magical street gang. I'm curious to see where this goes. This is a magical mystery that I cannot wait to get my hands on!
