I'm not even going to lie, it was the cover that initially drew me in. However, the plot is what made me click on the first impression excerpt, and here I am. What a preview, I didn't want it to end! I'll admit, fake dating is one of my favorite tropes (yes I know it's cheesy but when done well it can be SO GOOD) and I especially love reading about relationships between characters with a complicated past. I enjoyed the first impression and like that there's an overarching mystery at the heart of the story. I'm really intrigued and can't wait for publication.
