Review taken from my own personal Goodreads account, written directly after reading:

I'm not entirely sure what that was but I think I loved it.

Dual-POV novels are really hit-or-miss for me, and I think this one was a hit. I still have so many questions that are left unanswered, so I'm upset that it's going to be another year before I get my hands on the next book.

My one complaint about this book was that, right at the beginning, we were introduced to the character of Tal, and I was like, "You. I like you." And then he was barely in the rest of the book, and I was sad.

Additional thoughts:
-Readers beware that this book is more New Adult than Young Adult, as there are some graphic sex scenes. Some readers will love it, and some will be uncomfortable, so be aware before going into it!
-Lots of doors are left open in this story for the plot to go about a thousand different directions. This book is over 500 pages on its own, so the series will be perfect for those who like richly-drawn stories that they can savor for a long while.
