This book has all of the laid foundation of a gut-wrenching, action-packed, all-together stellar novel. The characters are immediately intriguing, which is impressive for an author to do in a short amount of time. There are elements of time travel, magic, swords, and everything you could want in a fantasy novel. The writing hooks you from the start, and you won't want to look back! I cannot wait to see what will come around the next corner (or page!). From what I can tell so far, this book will be a furious, thoroughly entertaining read from start to finish! I can't wait to read more, and will most likely be just as eager for the next books! You can be certain this will be a book you are hard pressed to put down.
