Two POVs??
While reading this book, one of my main thoughts was why is this book being told in two POVs set thousands of years apart, and I never really understand why.
As soon as something interesting happens to one of our main characters, you're immediately switched to a different POV and when you do finally get to see the interesting POV again, there's been a time jump, which annoyed me.
I really wanted something interesting to happen, it just felt slow, and I wasn't looking forward to reading it.
Overall, I felt disappointed in this book I've heard people rave about.
