Wow ! This book had so much going on right from the start. A dangerous magical being, a Queens death and a baby entrusted to a child. This child a boy is on the run for his own reasons beyond saving this baby. he has magical powers, time travel abilities. From there the story goes to different times, each circling around the history and the future of these characters. I admit to being drawn to Simon, the first boy who took the baby most. His beginning was such a shock, so traumatic, and he is in such danger. The baby, her mother held such powers what will she hold ?
Excellent writing and character development. I only read 41 pages and am so attached already. I can not wait to get my hands on the whole book, I have to know what happens.
