THIS. BOOK. It’s been quite a while since I enjoyed a book as thoroughly as I loved Furyborn. I was hooked from the very first page. Rielle and Eliana are both such complicated characters but your heart goes out to them for everything they go through. The world building is incredible, especially when you consider that it’s so wildly different a century apart. Even the minor characters are well-rounded and the mythology is fascinating. I loved the diversity throughout the book and would like to see more of it. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

Some personal cons that didn’t inhibit my enjoyment, but were still pretty noticeable:
1. The pacing toward the middle of the book threw me off. Every time I would get really invested after a POV change it would switch back, making it hard to stay in one plot line for long
2. I was kind of eh about Audric, but I’m reserving judgement for the sequels
