Okay, so this book started off great! I was engrossed and entertained by the premise and the characters. Over time; however, this book lost its spark. I was taken out of the story so often by the jarring switch of character perspectives in the chapters. I felt like as soon as I got to know or got used to a character we swapped to the other one. I found myself liking one character's story and not caring for the other. It became almost a chore for me to read and I did not want to pick this back up. I think it has a lot of potential and could have been done very well but overall, this book was not for me. It was nothing new or original in my opinion and lost my attention even though I gave it until 80%to stop reading it.
