Claire’s world building is so rich; there’s a history in a made up place and I feel the pain of the people who have gone from “the good life” to “the struggle bus”.
There were some times when the story dragged along...day to day activities but the pages before and after were filled with so much action and plot that I think it was meant as a palate cleanser.
I can’t believe the thing about Ludivine. I don’t even understand what she is but I hope she is a good one to help our squad!
