YA book with the chosen one and a prophecy? Yes, I know what you're thinking: how many times can this possibly be done? I admit to being a bit over the whole chosen one theme that is always so prominent in YA or fantasy books. But what really sets this story apart is how it focuses on two chosen queens, one in present day with flashes back to one from a thousand years earlier. The interwoven story lines and how they come to intersect kept me turning the pages all day long. It is action packed, and though the plot can be confusing it is fun to try and predict the course of the story. The storyline of Rielle was my personal favorite, and I hope to see more explanation on what happens to her in the next book
